I just looked at his website looks like all he has are very small boats and I didn't see any cats.

I properly reinforced my FG Rivercat and it has sustained little damage with numerous blow overs at 85+.

I agree with Chilli. Most c/f hulls from Fightercat are made by Tenshock. Although they are works of art in c/f, they need a lot of extra reinforcing to put up with any kind blow off. My own C/f shocker didn't survive a lift off at a low 80 mph without splitting and colapsing the hull in a number of places. Save your money and get a glass hull and reinforce that instead. Spend the extra money on decent hardware and motors. You will have a stronger boat. Carbonfibre is certainly killer in looks, but only goes skin deep. Steve
It's funny how either hull you get, fiberglass or carbon fiber...the reinforcement material of choice is carbon fiber. .........just sayin

Op....if you want a carbon hull, get you a carbon hull. I know the same hulls side by side in fg and cf that I've had in my possession. ...the cf was much stiffer everywhere. Maybe I don't know squat.....but I'd prefer a carbon hull over a fiberglass one 99% of the time. The 1% would only be if I loved a hull and it wasn't available in carbon. ......

(To clarify before the Internet arguers jump in and give their .02..... a mhz hull or one of those expensive german etc. Hulls in fiberglass is better out the box than a FC carbon hull....but they are alot more money.)

I was hoping people would say FG so I would feel better about buying one and save a few bucks plus I like to paint.

Hmmm...I had a post here earlier... Anyway, for your goal and for the price, get a KBB 45' Mystic. Very strong "real" carbon fiber layup with a gelcoat finish. The TFL hulls are good hulls, I've built and ran a lot of them, however they need a lot of reinforcement for running at higher speeds. Their carbon fiber hulls are only one layer of carbon and a lot of resin. The seem has a layer of fiberglass tape and again, a lot of resin.

BTW, a fiberglass TFL hull that has been reinforced correctly, can handle a lot of splashes also.....but it all depends on how the boat hits the water during a crash. Even the best hulls, can bust open during a high speed incident.

Get a FG hull then, if you want to paint. Be it FG or CF either way your gonna have to do some beefing up of the hull if your planning on a 90mph boat of any construction material, FG hull line with kevlar cf cloth, with CF hull do same plus build some bulkheads. Some other nice running reasonable priced cat hulls are Delta Force, Aeromarine. If you want to spend the money the Keith Bradley 45 is getting some good results, the Hydro & Marine hulls out of Germany are also nice. Have fun....DJ

If you want a big boat, get the kbb 45....I've seen a few videos on it and it performs well all the way around. He has alot of research and development in that thing and it's build strong. I font think it needs reinforcement. ...if you get a fiberglass hull or carbon hull from fc...it's going to need reinforcement. As long as it's reinforced well, get the fiberglass if that's what you want....

Minis are his main area for sure, I've never seen the Tenshock Mono1 on his site either but I know he had a few in, call him or PM him here and see if he has any or can get one.
