        I think I'd leave the strut but upgrade the turn fins and trim tabs.....nice looking boat btw

          Thank you. I do think I need a flex cable without this 2 piece design. Not sure what size it is diameter wise... In order to grease the flex I have to remove the strut to grease...

            well then i can adapr a catamaran strut to it...maybe add an aeromarine flex shaft seal kit like on your rivercat....you ne longer need to remove the flex to grease it....your gonna really like that....

              That's an idea! Does a normal grease gun fit the AeroMarine seal or....?

                PITA to grease, if I am correct, the cable is .130, don't hold me to it tho...

                    I am wrong: it is.150. and the length of the cable is 7" exactly, total length including the metal thingy is 7"3/4.

                      Thanks for measuring it out! I have fit a Spartan rudder t it now... Just have to get the one from OSE for dual cooling. I guess I will either have to create a build thread or use this one...? I added the pics in my album, thanks for the motivation on learning to use the album! lol
