One of the boats I dont have in my fleet is a rigger. I want one that would be good for SAW and be able to fit up to 6S. I do not want a wood kit, I have nothing against wood kits. I already have enough wood kits on the building jigs now. I would like one that would reach or get close to that magic triple digit mph mark. I've no interest in the CF lobster type. Need yall's input here I have a 1515 2200 that needs a home.....DJ

Pickin's are slim for any FE riggers that can hold 6S packs or larger. Most are converted nitro boats or custom made. Almost all are wood. I guess the market just isn't there to support the time and expense of making molds.Mike Chirillo

Aeromarine made a Stinger fiberglass outrigger in 3
different sizes 32" , 35" and 44"

Mike, I'm seeing exactly what your saying, pickings are very slim.
Revoltrunner, yeah! that twin is sweet. I'd like to have one, but apparently he only builds them for "select" customers.
Travis, that Etti is the style I'm looking for, but its too small for 6-8S. I have no prob with it being CF, I would prefer FG hull and CF sponsons.Tunnels-PS295. Revolt, I seen those. I'm currently doing some research to see what the deal is on them...I know the drive system would have to be replaced.
Rumdog, if I can find one already built Id buy it.....
Anybody got a Jae "built" they want to sell me...PLS.... DJTunnels-PS295. Cats-H&M M1 Supercat Daytona rivercat. Monos-DF Cyberstorm HiTech 29. I think GRS boats on here did a 6s molded SAW rigger, I don't know of another moulded option. There are a few European manufacturers that make 6s riggers, Like Rauch Mongoose, Lindeneau Bathlett, Hydro and Marine Dr Super Evil, but all are roundy round boats as is our way here and have quite a bit of lift in order to get 60-70mph for 5+ minutes on 4500mAh, they are quite lively at these speeds and I think pushing one much faster than 80 would be tough even in calm water, they are also built light in order to be as fast as possible with limited power so would need significant reinforcing to survive a 100mph blowover. If I had to pick one it would probably be the Mongoose as I know Rauch is willing to mould different thickness's and materials on request which would save a lot of work.
The Poseidon is a copy of the old H&M Mr Krabs, and while I am glad that they did not do a straight splash of it, what little they did change was a step backwards, I have seen several racing and none have been nearly as good as the Krabs, the Super evil and Mongoose are also based on the Krabs, but both offer significant improvements.Paul Upton-Taylor, Greased Weasel Racing.Comment

Something worth checking is whether your choice of 6s packs fit in a JAE.21FE I have run 6s 25c 4000mAh Zippy Compacts, 6s 35c 4500mAh Zippy Compacts and 6s 20c 4500mAh ETTI packs in mine and all have fitted easily, but all are very small and light for there capacity, and I wouldn't chose any of them for a SAWS attempt, Higher "C" rate cells will be bigger and heavier, for example my 4s 5000mAh 60c Tunderpowers are about the same size and weight as the 6s 25c 4000mAh Compacts and I highly doubt I could get another 2 TP cells in there.Paul Upton-Taylor, Greased Weasel Racing.Comment

Owlbirds/revoltrunner.
here's a 33" fg rigger

There is no way that boat will stay together without major rework And a 5000mah 4s pack only just fits. Don't think a decent size 6s will.
One of the original Dr Evil boats might do the trick if you can get a 6s pack in it.
Here's what we did just to get it to run decently in our 4s Restricted class. We're still racing them but they are just about at their 'use by date'.
Although I hate the look of the JAE stick insect, I'm afraid it is probably the best option for what you are trying to achieve. As others have said.See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!
