You need about an x447, tongue removed, thinned. Get rid of those water pick ups like said earlier. Adjust it to where it rides light but doesn't flip out the water. That's a 70 plus mph setup

I'll do a GPS speed after every modification and then I will know what made the most difference. Why doesn't this boat like a 3 blade ?
      Is it just more lift?
      A 642 is a 42mm prop...

x646 or m545 would work well if you have them

This may sound like a dumb question but are you sure you have the end points adjusted right on your radio? Running a prop that big with the batteries you have should be darn near melting or getting your connectors and electronics very warm if not hot. Im not sure your actually getting WOT.

When you get it right it should see 70mph easily

I'm inclined to agree with that Devo. It's the first thing I thought of when I read the first few posts. Not a dumb question at all.

                Juraj.
Did you programme the "Throttle Range" on the ESC as per Step#2 in the instructions. This should be done after you set all the parameters for Cell Count, LVC, Timing, etc.

What settings have you programmed into the ESC?

The motor kv is pretty high for a prop that big & that pitch on 6s. As Devo & others have pointed out. Especially such small packs & only a 1P set up.
See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!

I honestly haven't done the calibration and yes its quite possible I'm not running wot but the biggest issue right now is the fact that the chine walk is so serious that I actually can't even wot. It turns too much . how can I fix that?

Right now I have the hull pretty empty , I'm doing all the cooling changes so I'll do the physical changes now and do the calibtlrations when its back in the water.

I have my rudder adjusted to one side some instead of perfectly straight, so that my boat tracks straight when im really getting on it. I'm sure there are other ways of dealing with the issue, in example propping down or at least dropping the pitch, but the prop your running is probably your main issue. Try a 2 blade 445 s&b and see what happens

Yeah I have adjusted the rudder too but its still overpowering it at close to full throttle . I'll get a new prop and see
                      Thanks

The Genesis being a quite narrow hull gets out off shape easy with to much prop.

No, he meant the hull will not handle well, I have not heard of any deform issues with that hull...

Yes torque roll affects the Genesis where its narrow.
