Nice vids Tony, but as you know, they don't even come close to race water conditions that the OP wants to run in. Throw a few more boats on the water at the same time and then we will see the "real" race speeds are.

I know you want some quick answers to how to make your boat go fast, and how fast. The only way to acheive what you are after is spend time on the water testing. That way all the things that you will learn about your boat, speed and handling with different motors, batts and props, will leave you much the wiser and smarter. And better at driving your boat.
If you think that racing oval at 80mph would be easy, just go and try it at 50-60, it will be a big challenge with lots to learn when 5 other boats are trying to beat you to the next corner. If there is one thing I have seen many times is that the fastest boats often dnf, and the slower better set up boats win. Just my 0.02.

I will buy them. I just wanted to ask the offshore member, who been there and done that before. I thought u guys could give me an idea.

I am just being honest, i am no racer, but i happened to use those two brands of batteries not long ago in my rigger under almost identical water, wind, temp condition wit the same motor,prop and ESC. With the Dinogy 65c, 5000mah, 4s, my speed was 69.6 mph, thanks to many kind people who gave me sound advices on tuning and set ups. The Grim pack gave me 68mph, you may laugh at me with these speeds, but it was a goal for me to get close to 70 mph, and however slowly i get there, every step was a reasonable progress and effort.
Like i said, Dinogy is my choice, but Grim pack is great too, but I do not believe these two different brands will give you a 10 mph difference.
My suggestion for you to buy them and try is not poking fun at you.
Last but not least, we seem to be on different channels all the time, people are trying to help, but you get ahead of yourself and it becomes difficult for people to follow you.

Im on 60mph on 4s 30c grim racer packs with 447 prop . I wanted faster.kfxguy mentioned going with the 1730kv to get faster.I asked about using the 4517 pitched prop with no positive feedback. Am I on the right path to 80mph using the TP4050 1730KV motor with 4517 pitched props?

As for lipo batteries. I figure the higher c rating lipo is better for me doing higher speeds and I have both brands too but not in 4s. I came here cause I thought that it would be wiser to ask u guys about speed improvement. It was either get the higher c rating battery to see how much more speed I could get or just change motors for more performance speeds.
Now can u guys tell me if kfxguy idea is better with going with the 1730kv motor for more speed?

Lower kv is going to give you more torque. Torque that is needed to make the props cut through the water. Then your adding more voltage (6s on those motors) so that will give you the rpm you need and the extra torque will help to get the props cutting through the water at a higher rpm. Higher rpm on the same prop will make you go faster (putting it simple). You need to read my mini rivercat thread where I swap motors and go to a lower kv (1800kv vs originally 2650kv with the exact same motors) and you'll clearly see and understand what I'm telling you.

As for batteries, you not going to see a huge increase in speed unless the batteries your using are toast or just not up to the task of what amps you need. I plan on doing some back to back battery testing this weekend. 5000mah 50c 3s venom vs 6500 65c 3s spc to see if I pick up anything. I suspect maybe 1 mph if that.
