I have seen some nice twin shockers, did you check out srislash's shocker build? Nice build and lots of good ideas!

Yeah thats good thinking, "nothing less than a twin from you." Peer pressuring you into building a twin lol.

I'm not sure what your expectations are for speed but I believe there is a thread on here and a guy got 100mph with leopard 4082 2200kv motors on 6s. Here is the video. She runs mhz drives.

Shawn aka srislash on here has built two of them I believe so has quite a bit of wheel time behind one. Definitely worth talking with him during the setup.

Wow. That thing is fast! I saw that video before and was really impressed. Guess I could go at least that fast with the castle motors. Thinking that's the route I'm going to go now.....

Would be a good boat to test the rpm theory with as well and NO we're not dragging that into this thread lol, but I'd like to see what the castle can handle on 6s. If running twin seaking 180s just remember to run an external RX pack like the one steve sells here on OSE.

I am running that motor and same esc in my rivercat. It's holding up fine. Doesn't get hot. Using a x642 prop. I have two fightercat 101 esc's for this project btw. Just need motors, a reverse rotation flex and reverse rotation prop. I'm all ears if anyone has anything I need.

Don't build a twin. You already have so much invested in your single motor boats, it would be a shame to sell them all now...

Personally I'm not sure the 1515-1y motors (or whatever ~2200kv motors you use) are going to work well with your setup. 4074, 4065, etc. would be a good size, but I think you should go with a lower kv motor...1600kv would be a better option with those controllers.

                          Lol

Maybe do the twin 1717 motors then?

I think Keith is thinking try to keep the amps down. Try to go easy on the ESC's. 1717's won't do that. They are heavy, amp hogs, and I doubt they will fit properly. Don't get me wrong, I have 3 and love them in the right hull.

I have a pair of 101's here I am about to put in the Fantasm so we will see how they do there.

Not trying to argue by any means, but i cant keep the fact out of my mind that i have a 1717 and a fc 101 in my cheetah and it runs on 6s just fun. barely runs 100 degrees and has good run time too. now add in the fact that its in a less efficient hull and its only a single so its got to work harder.....

btw, you wanna sell a couple of your 1717's?
