What he talking is finding a thread that is 4 years old, then posting about boat that does not have anything to do with thread topic.

You would be better to start your own thread about the Volantex.
Infact RC groups have a few threads on your boat about modding them.

Kenny, eric nailed it. I wasn't trolling you, nor was my use of the word pimp inferring anything about your RC budget. It was odd that you posted in a 4 year old thread about two unrelated boats. Sorry if you were offended, not my style.

Hello and welcome to the group of enthusiasts Kenny. That Volanex looks like a fun boat to run and you say you have two? Just that much better. It is truly a hoot to run two or three together. And with that size charging packs or even having a number of charged packs in your pocket just adds more to the experience.

Do you have a running mate then Kenny?

O.k. apology accepted, im sure that the linguistic idiosyncracies between two countries sharing the same basic language that has of course become changed through time is a factor as well. I believe the term "pimping" means customising a car, motorcycle, boat, or the like over with you guys, whereas it means hiring out an individual for immoral carnal purposes, and making financial gain from the transaction over here.. I must confess that i did not notice any chronological data for thread origin, i merely responded in admiration of the boats described, while admittedly "blowin the bugle" for the Atomic, which having recently acquired and run for the first time,i am hugely impressed and delighted with. I enjoy however, seeing the boats that other folks round the world keep and run, and if i have one big disappointment, its that OSE dont have an outlet over here in UK midlands. Yeah i know we can order online, but it would be like finding Eldorado, goin round a store like that!! Lol!

Hi Shawn, my only "running mate" ive been with for past seventeen years, but she is merely tolerant of my interests in R.C. boats, 8 ball pool, heavy metal music, trance music, and many other forms of music, and has to put up with my tirades against MSM, and our government.:. No , i run my boats alone usually ,with a few civil and cordial interactions with occassional persons sailing yachts, families with kids sailing small toy style powered boats, and the occassional curiousness of the local walkers/joggers, and avian inhabitants.
I dont mind that really though im used to being solitary though i wouldnt want it as a parmanent situation. Apologies i digress somewhat, my daughters boyfriend was the one responsible for rekindling the dormant passion for boats from the 1960's in Duthie Park, Aberdeen. He runs a ft009, and ft 011. But they live 300 miles away.. I have 5 boats 2 Atomics, 1 ft012, 1 inoperative ft009, and my much loved original a tiny 42 cm joysway offshore searider lite type 4.
