    That is great news, I didn't mind his web site being a bit inconvenient. I do think, on the other hand, Jan deserves a better site. Most of the time when his stocks are out, the "add to cart" buttom disappears so it is quite clear to me whether an item is in stock or not.
    Knowing that he is an one man show, I try not to e mail him unless it is absolutely necessary. My question regarding an item I ordered ( already received) was answered by him Monday. ( I e mailed him on Friday) This is more than acceptable to me.
    I just feel fortunate to have OSE and Kintec, without them I would not have enjoyed this hobby half as much.
    Too many boats, not enough time...

      Jan has always been a great provider of "odd" or "hard to find" items. My local HS doesn't carry any wire less than 12ga. They deal with RTR "Big boy toys" but don't carry any " big boy parts" Kind of a deterrent to go there but on occasion I've been known to browse their items for periods of time ( Wow, where'd that hour go!) His site is a bit "odd" to work around, but once you understand that when the "add to cart" button is not there, that means he is out of stock. He can get it, but it may take a bit. If your building, not such a bad thing, but if your repairing, it can be. Shipping has been 3 or less days to me. Granted I'm only 1 state away, but I'm sure USPS has a bit to do with it as well. I just mailed some part's, First class, last week, usually only 3-5 days to from east coast to west coast, but I watched the package sit in Rochester, N.Y for the entire weekend, after I dropped it off Friday afternoon. Didn't arrive to it's destination in Seattle for 9 days. It's not always the shipper who has delayed shipment. USPS has been crawling lately, and with cutback's and bigger route's for the carrier's, they are now out delivering up to 7pm at times. I get better service from UPS. Just cost's a bit more. Thumb's up for me with Kintek. I hope to see the new site soon. Long deserved if you ask me.

          I ordered some props lately and he is slower than normal. no phone or emails unless it's through paypal. I would use him again but he is slower than normal.

            ive ordered lots from both kintec and ose and have nothing but great things to say about both. kintec did cancel an item i ordered instead of maybe offering an alternative in stock item. but not abig deal.

              I ordered at 5am this morning. The tracking I received is already active.

              I had an issue last fall when the 3/16 strudder I ordered came with the wrong strut. Jan agreed to take it back and rework it for me. I never got around to sending it back. I ended up doing it myself a few days ago. I also fell victim to the "where is the rest of my order?" He let me know that they were BO and I had the remaining parts a week later.

                  The quickest way to get a response is to use paypal to open a claim and he will get with you with in a day. I did the email and phone with no response at all!

                      No you didn't miss anything. A paypal dispute is ridiculous when the order was received today. An email would be appropriate!

                        I have had stuff on back order for months and also he has forgot to send very small parts, like the order will be missing a screw or something. If he has it in stock, great you'll have it within a few days. If not then you might want to look elsewhere for the part you need.

                          Ok try it! I'm saying that when I got a prop that was wrong and I tried calling numerous times and also emailed a few times also. What did work was going through paypal. I went though just the first stages of it as I got a response the next day.

                            Like I also said. I would use him again. The prop I got was wrong because the package was marked as a (L) X945 And a right turn was in it. I sent it back and was sent a left turn. It wasn't his fault and was straitened out. All I'm saying is that he is hard to reach.

                              Ditto! No answers unless you do a PayPal Claim. Then I got a response within minutes. Not a great way to run a service bussiness.

                                On the other hand, just got an e mail from him telling me the black cooler is Out Of Stock, and gave me choice between refund or the silver one.
                                I never had any issues with him, knowing that he is extremely busy, I do not expect a reply within the same day, however, Jan has returned my e mails on the same day on many occasions and I am very comfortable doing business with him. It is nice that Kintec and OSE do not over lap EVERY ITEM in their inventory so I can pick what I need and order from both of them.
