Looks good, great components. Other than trying to drive the boat at anything else than full throttle for extended periods of time. The esc will heat up fast trying to run at slower speeds. You have a full blown race setup there. what kv are you running. Unless you have a relatively low kv motor I see this boat attempting to much faster then the hull can handle. How much a concern I will leave to the experts. Have you run the boat? What kv, voltage and prop size do you plan on running? This information will be key determining what will happen. Someone should be along to help. Good news is if you want to build another boat to go insanely fast your a good ways there. The experts should be able to tell you how to tune things to your goals or otherwise... -

If all you want is 50 mph you might be better served with 8S rather than 10S. That motor runs very well on 8S swinging a larger, more efficient prop for that large hull. The problem is the top speed you want, as mentioned that 10S is really a race setup with that motor and you may have to 'prop down' quite a bit - sometimes tough to do with props available and still maintain efficiency with that large hull. 8S does not mean slow, a club member runs that motor on 8S in his T-Sport Hydro and hits 74 mph in oval trim.
All that said it will work well on 10S with the right prop. An x455 would be a place to start.

Even running 6s2p for the the maiden might be a good idea? That hull is sick can you give me a link to it? I'd love to do a similar build.Comment
