You don't sand it down, you add a very thin wedge piece on the rear ride pad. I'm using a piece of G-10 to do mine.

I can make that turn going that slow without a problem. I just would rather sell the boat than sand on it and let someone else do it. I don't think that's the problem tho. Cf doesn't warp as much like fiberglass when removing from a mold I've been told. I don't think that's my problem. I think as everyone else has said that my rudder is too short. I have a longer rudder now but haven't tried it yet. I'll find out this weekend.

It's not a warp from removing it from the mold, it's a design flaw in the original design. They all have it and the only way to correct it is the ride pad mod we're talking about. Although I don't think this is causing the problem you're having. Is your radio capable of slowing down the speed the rudder moves?

Yes it is capable. I turned the travel down 25% also. Before I do anything else to it I'm going to see if this longer rudder helps. It may not because it's only a 1/2" longer.

Don't waste your time with a 1/2" longer rudder, get a real rudder on that thing. http://www.rossisales.com/ruddernew2.html
