Hey Doc sorry to hear about this,
That really suck about all the time wasted and to have that happen.
But you did get lucky it did not sink to the bottom.
I have a AM 50" Pro cat that opened up like that on it's 5th run,
From a blow over at 80mph that I still need to try and repair some day.
The worst part is it just had a custom paint job put on it.

Historically Ive seen a few with gel blemishes, but this the first to ever screw the pooch.

There was plenty of flotation.. it was happily floating around the lake !
Thankfully there were areas not split that held the flotation .. !
I plan to epoxy and use cloth to hold all flotation in future.
        Flotation is important.
Have I said 'flotation' enough times ?

Ive tried to contact Remy/Aeromarine via telephone.. for some reason Im declared an unknown caller and denied connection by his carrier. " This number does not accept calls from ubknown numbers."

Which is just silly because everyone knows who I am and the caller ID is not blocked.

Have since tried a non-cellphone and the number dials.

It is now 0930 here in South Oz and there is no reply these last 15 minutes... what time is is there ???????

I ask you fine people to contact them in their morning on my behalf asking him/them to follow up on the emails sent to both remy@comcast and/or aeroamarine@erols... .because after 6 days I feel ignored.

            Much appreciated !

            cheers
            Wayne

Any progress at all so far? Surely it didn't take 6 days for them to take your money when you purchased the boat! I am going to have to find a different boat to buy, nothing is worse than a company that won't respond back to a customer. I really didn't expect this from aeromarine and I wish you luck in getting a response back. What has happened to customer service, it seems to be going or already gone the way of the dinosaur, extinct!

The expression "at least they could kiss you after they ^%$# you" comes to mind. No excuse for not responding.

drwayne, I really hope you get a chance to settle things in your favor. I wouldn't expect anything else if the purchase was made in China or but one tries to have faith when making a purchase like this whether it be the US, Canada, Australia etc. I am starting to believe most companies mission statements read "take the money and run", it doesn't seem to matter where or what you buy these days.
A sad state of affairs unfortunately. I also got burned for over $300 on a boat purchase I made in the US and know how it feels. Good luck and keep the bad press rolling until you have a response. Keep this thread current until you have a response.

I never had a problem dealing with aeromarine. Every time I call or write an email I get a speedy response. I have sat on the phone with remy for hours just bs'n about hulls. They are great to deal with and stand behind their products. He sent me replacement hulls twice due to splitting at the seams. I got to keep the old ones as well, but now order them rite from him with seams taped or just do it myself. I never split one after doing this

Interesting that people usually complain about Asian companies ignoring their customers....

Looks like that problem exists elsewhere as well.

I sent an E-Mail to them...lets see if they reply.

Just foamed my Titan hull around the seams in the bow....shouldn't have any problems now.

Received an email today from Remy ( of Aeromarine )
With promises of a replacement hull.
                              Stay tuned !

Very nice to hear that. It is still disturbing that it took so long for a response. The lack of communication at all or in a timely manner was the issue for me here as a potential customer. Not knowing the whole story on the boat I had no idea if you were entitled to a new hull or not. We just need OSE to stock another million or so in boats and parts and we would be neatly set up! I hope it works out for you and with luck aeromarine will pay a little more attention to customer needs. I have enough to keep me busy so I am in no rush for the next boat.
