I asked a friend of mine that has a DX3 and he managed to set it up for these ESCs. Set the channel no3 (aux) on reverse, this will fix it . All the other settings on normal. Apparently it's written in the manual... very small prints.

not having much luck reversing the throttle channel. Not sure how reversing Aux channel helps because it's just a slave of the throttle channel but I tried it anyway. I ran the esc through aux channel and reversed it cause I reckon at this stage the answer is either not going to make sense to me or it will be painfully obvious to the extreme. lol.

does anyone know if the Jeti spin makes any noise or indication of life without being armed by the receiver? I'm trying to rule out a dead esc. it's never been run but weirder things have happened.

Well if that doesn't seem to work read the instructions very carefully (with a magnifying Glass)for the section the Cornel P has told you about and see, but you may need a pistix. The only person I know of with any is Ray Fuller of Fuller's Fast electrics last year I purchased two from him he may still have some laying around. if all else fails you can try one of those.

          Thanks CornellP and Pete,
Yes those instructions I must have read now 30 times LOL.. Damn the writing is small! crappy packaging and instructions for such an expensive product. that's what happens when an engineer designs packaging in his lunch break.
I ordered a couple of Pistix from the OSE just yesterday when I discovered this problem. I hope their inventory was correct cause I look at the product today and it is out of stock. Even if the product doesn't work for this problem I'd like to keep a couple in my spares for the future. Didn't even know they existed till yesterday.

If I get my hands on a flight radio and try to arm it with one of those that will settl the issue of whether the Pistix is going to work. My friend has a dx7i that he might loan to me for a night.

Apparently you have to reverse the aux, but still run the ESC on the normal channel... if this makes sense... but I've seen it working :p and all trims to zero.

Thanks for the help, I just did a full reset the model on the tx so all the trims were zero and end points back to 100% than I set Aux to reverse and plugged ESC to throttle channel. Sorry to say but it didn't work.
Must sleep on it I think. getting really late here in Australia so must put it aside for this evening as much as I hate to give up. perhaps tomorrow I'll get an epiphany.

thanks again for all the help.
