NEW Jeti Spin 200 amp HV ESC

Looks like Jeti is coming out with a new ESC for you guys with deep pockets.

Jeti SPIN 200 Amp HV Opto Brushless Speed Control ..... $ 547.80

24-40 NiMH/NiCd, 6-14 Li-Poly, 18-59V. Two sets of 4mm input cables (2 positive and 2 negative cables), 4mm output cables. Due to the high voltage the SPIN200 has an ancillary circuit that prevents sparking when the controller is being connected to the flight batteries. The negative poles of the flight pack must be plugged to the two 4mm black wires first, then the thin (1.5mm) red wire must be plugged into the positive side of the flight pack. Only then can the two 4mm red wires be plugged into the flight pack.

The controller has two 2-1/2"x2-1/2"x3/16" heat sinks and four standoff mounts to allow free airflow around all sides of the unit.

    2-1/2"x4-11/16"x1-1/16", weighs 270 grams (9-1/2 oz.)

Lotta bread, I never liked any of the Hacker/Jeti ESC's. The throttle control felt more like a on/off switch compared to Castle ESC's. Now if this ESC was way cheaper than a Hydra HV240 then I might consider it.

Hello all, my name is Paolo and hoping if anyone can help me with understanding the correct settings for a jeti spin 200. I'm trying to get it to work with a land based Spektrum Dx3r radio and it will not arm up. Jeti site has no troubleshooting advice and the only place I can see people using a similar setup is here in the boat forums. although I do own electric boats in this project I'm trying to get one working in a 1:5th scale onroad race truck and a neu 2215 2.5 y on 10s. sorry if it's not appropriate to post here but RC boaters seem to be the only guys using the big controllers with trigger radios.

I have a link to the jeti box setup I did below and if anyone has any information or knowledge that can help me overcome this problem I will be much appreciative.

note :I have since doing the video put the receiver on the jeti box to work out the pulse width. found it was 1.5 ms at neutral and 1.91 at full throttle so I adjusted that and it still did not work. Reversing throttle channel also did not work.

Do you guys think I need a pistix adapter even though the Pulse width is user adjustable through the jeti box?

Ok one thing I noticed was an aircraft setting on your Jeti box. it should not say aircraft I am thinkinhg you need to see if there is another setting when you see the "Orentation mode- aircraft" try changing that setting as you are not using an aircraft controler hopfully it is that simple.

Good luck and there are plenty of guys here that may be very willing to help you.

Hi Pete, I appreciate the help. I really do hope it is a simple solution. I will try another setting unfortunately there is only, Aircraft and various Heli settings so all use a stick radio. I will try a Heli setting later and let you know how it goes.

                        Thanks, P

yeah it's an old thread I know but I didn't see the need to start a new thread considering it was just questions about the same controller. I actually bought the controller around 18 months ago but the project sat on the backburner for a while untill I gathered motivation to finish it. since then I noticed they came out with a spin 300 but I think the 200 will work ok if I can get it to work that is.
