Need help with my HPR setup

Hi guys. I just bought this hpr 115 boat from some guy in Germany but it hasn't been set up and I have no experience with these speed controllers and was wondering if anyone could help me with setting them up. I'm using a spektrum MR3000 Marine receiver, a Spektrum DX3C and 6S turnigy lipos. When I plug in the batteries the esc lights turn red, but nothing happens afterwards. The previous owner isn't much help and advised me to hit the forums. There is no info on the web on these esc's as far as I gather, or it's all in German. If anyone can guide me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. Also he sent me a bunch of cables which I have no idea what to do with.

Current setup on the boat is

motors: 2x LMT 1940/9 HiAmp, LK & WK
    ESC: 2x AS 26.150BL
    Servo: Futaba S3152

Not sure if this will help at all, but I translated the owners manual from German to English using Google Translate.

Ah, the Pair a Dice from Stefan.

For initial programming of those ESC's: Plug in battery, within ~1sec after connecting press the small button right next to the LED and you will hear a beep, pull the trigger from neutral to full trottle, awaiting another beep. After that go back to neutral, the ESC will confirm with a beep and start initializing. It goes only in programming mode when you hit that button almost immediately after connecting the batteries. The next time simply connect and it should start up.

As confirmation in neutral the LED should be green, as soon as you are in partial throttle the LED goes off, on full throttle it should go on again. Use that to confirm it was programmed properly.

        regards,
        Manuel

And oh, radio at 125% on throttle channel on spektrum or else you will be forever trying to get it to arm. On futaba 100% and reverse throttle channel will work

Thanks guys, just got back from holiday time off, tried what Manuel suggested but nothing happens. I plug one battery to one esc, I hit the button right away but there are no beeps. I must be doing something wrong. Since there is no way to plug the battery in all at once, I first plug one bullet in, and then the other, then I see the red light and hit the button. Also the button doesn't have any click or press feel to it for some reason, is that normal? I tried this about 20 times. I feel like such a noob.

Do you have the throttle at 125%?? And do you have all equipment connected as well? Power to RX? Basically hook it up as if you were about to run

Oh, sometimes on those controllers the push button gets stuck because of the heat shrink. I took mine off and did a new one with a hole in it. I definetely have to feel like a switch when you push on it.

Yeah I did that too just now, but still no beeps when I connect the battery. Does the 125% throttle affect the initial beep? Because there is no sound at all. And how do you get 125% throttle? I'm not familiar with this

You need to go to the menu screen on the Tx, look for 'travel' then adjust the forward travel from 100% to 125%.

That's rite, maybe both forward and backward 125% I think on that radio you can adjust both at the same time.

Found it, set to 125%. The problem is these ESC's aren't responding when I press the button. No beep which should happen regardless whether or not it's bound to the tx, right? It should give at least that first initial beep. They are silent.

Got the boat in the water today, but for some reason it doesn't want to go fast. It screams but doesn't really go. Once it gets onto plane it takes a while to get to speed, and then just cruises slowly. Then suddenly it would go faster. I'm using 4 bladed props that were sent with the boat which should still give it good speed. Is there something I need to set up on the ESC's ? As far as I know the boat should just jump out of the water and get to speed right away.
