Yeah, D winds get real warm with high timing. I seem to recall that they are D's

ok today is first try with one pack and 440 prop stock motor first try is 2s pack all i have on hand right now aint got my paralel adapter yet gonna check temps 7degres of timming

If it is D wind then timming 3.75degrees is the best.

ran it. was colder than crap. handled great but im afraid 2s just dont cut it lol ran about 25.mph guessing with the 440x and one 2s-6000mah pack dont think it will be upside down like sv27

You ran it on 2s 6000 ? What C rate is it ?
Get another 2s 6000 in series for 4s and the monster will come to life for you.
What esc did you get for it ?
No this hull will take a lot of chop or really dumb moves to get it upside down,
3s is the lowest I have ran my on.
And on 4s it would be a lot better as for amps rate for the motor that is.

Based on my new one and running it, it will take a lot to capsize this hull.

I've had mine downside up a few times, some during races, often from getting blown off in big chop. Floats real good that way too!

lenny they have a c rate of 45

I think if you get the CG and setup right,
You may be able to make it self right it self just about.
I will need to do some cell placement testing down the line for that to happen.
The only time mine was on it's back so far was coming of a jet ski wake one time,
And it floated good with just two 1" pieces of tape holding the hatch on for ten minutes.

They should be great than at 45c.

I have tried mine with some old Rhino 20c and 25c 4s 4900mah packs and got about 4 minutes out of each pack,
And they worked pretty good with out changing my setup.
