These new water jacket o-rings are too big!!! What the....????

Just to clarify not all Leopard jackets are tight or difficult to get onto the motor can, its just been the odd couple ive had out of a number of jackets I have + a number friends that have them have had no problems either.

Grinding out the grooves seem to have worked on the first one. I saw a little tiny tiny bit that got sliced off one of the O-rings, but since 90% of the thickness was still there, it caused no leak at all. Guess I'll do that with the other two.

Take motor with you to hardware store and cooling jacket and buy extra rings. I didn't oil or lub can shell to get rings on. When you roll rings on, make sure the rings don't twist and let them lay naturally. I know you know this but I just inserted it as I was typing anywho, LOL!
