The hump in the middle is the top of the tunnel. No build up on the exit point of the stuffing tube. Just Tape up around the stuffing tube where it exits the tunnel floor and flood the top(inside) with JB weld. Don't forget to roughen up all surfaces that will be in contact with the glue. I haven't tried vacuum bagging. I just saturate the cloth, lay it in and then use a small foam touch up roller to work out bubbles and soak up excess resign.
