Ken what issues are you having? I have to say the seaking 180 is by far my number one selling esc. I personally started using them also and the have been great.

OK, I'm going to ask again... HOW FREE IS THE DRIVELINE IN THAT BOAT??

That many higher amp ESCs going up in a row means something is wrong WITH THE BOAT! Not the electronics...

        1) Is there drag in the driveline
        2) Are you actually connecting up the betteries correctly? You wouldn't be mixing up parallel with series??
        3) Were these failures all with the same motor?? Ummmm... could the motor have a short in it or ???

Basic questions, but until you rule them out, well...

I hate it when people have failures like this. Makes the hobby look harder than it is. But I haven't read any response to the basic question... Is the driveline free and without any drag or binding??

Steve I have a 120 and two 180's. all three of them worked with the program card for the first couple times then after only a few runs when I tried to adjust the settings None of them would work with the card and had to be done by tx.One of my 180,s constantly goes into lvc. I use a separate bec and have the Lvc turned off and it still constantly does it. The other one keeps going into thermal. I added extra cooling and have tried it in a couple different combinations of motor and prop and it still does it.This one also nearly cost me a boat. I tried using the built in bec and it shut down then restarted but I did not have radio control and it drove into the shore. I was certain it was a bad receiver until I did further experimenting and realized it was the bec.

Enough to leave me with a bad feeling about them for sure. They have left me (or the guys I run with ) paddling far too many times.

Are these Hobby King Turnigy or Hobby Wing?
not sure on the Turnigy, but the Hobby wing has a good repair service. Did you send them back for repair?

They are hobbywing. I had them for quite a while before I started using them and have no receipts or anything. not even 100% sure where they came from. I think one was from you and the other from Hk but like I said its been a while and cant say for sure.
