Will PM you. I will take some pictures when I finish on a colored hull, I did a white hull and the tape is invisible, it comforms to the hatch contour nicely. Love it!
Too many boats, need more, lol...just thinking ahead...

This tape is clear and invisible, produces a glossy look. Hard to see in the photo, nonetheless, since Jeff asked me to post some pictures, here they are. I wanted to post a colored hull, my I am slow and it will be a while before I finish, so here goes with the white hull.
My BBY Zephyr has some paint damage ( lift) on the starboard side, I peel it every time and repaint it afterwards, terrible paint job ( my touch ups) as I don't care too much, this is a fun boat and if I ever race, it will be my choice.
However, I got tired of doing it and Jeff's tape to the rescue: now I can peel the hatch tape without fear of lifting the paint. I plan to apply this stuff to all my painted hulls!
I applied the front and back ( lateral) first, then the lengthwise strip. Reason being the sequence of application of the hatch tape. I want the lengthwise tape to "cover" the widthwise tape at the corners because I will apply the two strips of lengthwise hatch tapes before the short ones in the front and back. In this case I will have no exposed edges, the lateral ones would then only "step" on the two already applied.
Per Jeff's suggestion: I use a hair dryer to warm up the taped area and run my fingers on it to make sure it is all adhered to the hull. Also look at the tape at an angle to see if indeed every millimeter is properly pressed down without air pockets.

Guys been a busy week I will get back to everyone soon as I can on this.

Paul, the tape is not template based you apply it yourself.
1/2" on hatch side and 1/2" on deck of boat.

Jeff, got notification that tape is in transit. Thanks!
Here are a few more pictures on my Popeye, again, it's hard to see, but I want to show how this tape can conform to the shape of the hull, which is important for this application. DSCN5085_5446.jpg DSCN5086_5447.jpg
The front of the nose was already peeled ( clear) and I wanted to have ample coverage so I had to do a few layers. Also that shape is trickier and I was able to lay a complete one piece across ( it involves some stretching and careful positioning before applying pressure ). A few short ones on top and hair dryer to warm up the entire area. I always put extra hatch tape over the hump and this wider coverage will give me the protection I need.
