Any good suggestions on motors on 6cell. I am not going to replace it immediately but I want to keep the batts just swap the motor out eventually.

Way way way way way way way UNDERPROPPED you are at 23.000rpm I had a conquest and a Herzog hurricaine both with Lehner 3080'2 with an RPM of around 25,000 and I ran a Y572/3bladed prop. the 3080 produced 8-10,000 watts, The problem you have is that motor is rated at about 3000 watts and I suspect that is even on the high side realistically on 8S it might be 2200-2500 watts, on 6S is not powerful enough to pull a prop big enough to move your boat.

a Neu 1527/1Y (1250kv) is the perfect 6 cell motor, If you want more power than that then a 1530/1.5D (1350kv)

Yea mike we figured out the motor is under powered so therefore cannot run the appropriate sized prop. I will get a new motor next season. It runs pretty well the way it is set up. Ps 3000 watt will cook the wires on the motor I don't care what Hk says those wires are thin

Just going to through this out there on a real boat when someone wants out of the hole harder acceleration the up the blade count. Think of ski and wakeboard boats. There is a reason they don't run two or even three blade props. Most run 4 or 5 blades. My friend you worry about coming of the line actually seems more like a drive angle/depth issue to me. But that's just my two cents.

The strut is up as high as possible rudder is offset. Strut is at neutral angle

there is nothing wrong other than his KV is way too low for the cell count. yes even on our little boats inc blades inc acceleration.

Would a leopard 4074 or 84 work well on 6s what kv should I be looking for?

I'd go with a kv around 1600. That hull doesn't do well with big props being that its so narrow, so it's best to get rpms up kinda high

I would get tp power 4092 motor in the 1500 1600kv range. Run 6s m445 prop. That motor is a powerhouse incomparable to leopard. In time buy sf 240 esc and 85mph is yours on 8s.

Bike rider that would involve me changing everything batt esc and motor. I do not need 80 mph 50-60 is fine with me
