Hey - a Patrick M sighting. Looks as though cheese and venison pulls him out of hiding. Hows the Arizona summer going for you?

I guess if cheese and venison works some of my favorite heavy craft beers should work also. Got fridge full of that.

Got new taps ordered along with Tap oil. All set - thanks again.

Haven't tried the micro brews on aluminum but I know for a fact that the heavier ones will grease the ol' cheese and venison chute.... as well as lubricate the gray matter.

Stone IRS and RuinTEN are great for the 119* days like we had a couple weeks back. The temps are cooling to about 110* now that the monsoons and their humidity have moved in.

Wish that we had access to some of the Midwest and right coast stuff like Brooklyn and Three Floyds......

Headed to the land of beer and cheese this weekend to do battle with Doug and the Badgers. Bringing a bit of Surly Bender to trade. Spotted Cow is OK, but I heard something about the Fat Squirrel becoming extinct.
Back on topic, I too have snapped a couple taps over the years. Figured it was just aluminum but the "gall and bind" thing now makes sense. I wonder how a heavy stout would work?

That's to bad about the Fat Squirrel ... I haven't been up that way in quite some time. But we do have a new brewery down here that isn't to shabby.
