    Minimono Driveline Fix

I continue getting questions about the drive wire system and the stock .047 just is not a good enough setup for this boat.

I am playing with a new set up with a 062 wire and stub and drivedog and bullet nut. You can use your own stock coupler after you drill it for 062... which is very simple. I would run a x432 or even slightly larger Octura prop and it should run out very well. You will also have to drill out the stuffing tube plug to fit the new wire...very simple.

The boat looks like a blast.

Any other input on this rig?

Have you put a price on this yet? How hard was it to get the plug out?

Not yet but not much. I would remove motor and then use a drill bit and just twist in and out until there. Just a rubber plug correct?

I will check mine when we get home after a short vacation. Probably be today sometime.

You might want to find a collet for the drive. I know we can find one ourselves, but most people, including myself would prefer a complete system.

No problem. I figured more folks would be interested in a new bullet proof system but not much response on this post. Thank you for your input.
