Boat finally came in

Here are a few pics of the new boat. I'm very eager to start building it unfortunately I'm waiting for parts. I will be posting regularly so everyone can see the progress.

Carbon fiber laid motors and mounts just came in will update more pics as the build progresses later this week.

Nice looking boat. I would have cut some motor mounts out of CF plate, so you could have angled your motors. Then your stuffing tube would only have one bend. Instead of an S bend in the tube.

I've also been wanting to build one of these boats. But I would have went with a CC 2028's and SF 300 esc's.

Sorry for the wait but here she is.

After waiting for parts, vacations and laziness she is just about done I have a few minor things to complete but her maiden voyage will hopefully be this afternoon. A YouTube link will be posted if it happens along with photos.

Looks good but I would of followed Jason's recommendations and you might run into problems with there being too much space between the end of brass and front of collet. Are you using teflon???

Yes they both are Teflon lined. My tub to motor collet is only an inch in previous testing with other boats it did not pose a problem who knows only one way to find out.

Just a thought...

If you moved the motors further back (toward the transom), you could probably mount the SF300s in the sponsons behind the motors. Doing so will make battery and motor wires much shorter and cleaner, and clean up the overall appearance of the hull.
