Prop that goes well with A3630-1500 Brushless Motor from proboat

Hey everyone, not sure if i should have started a new thread on this but i think it will help others out in the future. Once again, im so new to this i dont know much really about any of it. I just bought the A3630-1500 Brushless Motor for my proboat miss elam 1/12 scale. It has a stock Elam BL 228mm flex shaft. I dont really want a metal prop since ive heard bad things about them, such as if you hit land with them the flex shaft can break same with your motor. So whats the best prop you can get that will fit the flex shaft? Its for the miss elam once more. Thanks everyone!

If You've heard bad things about metal props you've heard it from people that know nothing about Rc boats. You're rudder would dig into land way before your prop was able to churn up any earth.
For stock Elam 1500 kv an x642

haha hobby town. there WAS a hobby town near me before they went out of business. the owner was clueless and a complete dick on top of it. youll find all the good info you need here on ose.
the metal props need to be balanced and sharpened before use. steve sells them b/s if you have the cash to spend.

Okay cool. $40 is a lot for a prop! Will it really make a difference? I can buy a plastic prop for $5 although my plastic props chip very easily.

yeah thats the same prop. only it NEEDS to be balanced and sharpened. if you notice they charge an extra 25 bux to do that, which puts you at the same price as stevens already done prop. only difference is, steve has quick shipping and his props are done very well. never know who is doing those other props at fun rc boats

Yeah you're right. Just the name sounds a bit funny "fun rc boats" ha. Well, now i need to make a decision on buying a $40 prop that i might risk falling off or getting damaged ha. Thanks for all your help heaving earth, wish i could write a recommendation up for you or something ha.

lol no biggie man, there are tons of people here that are willing to help. fortunately for me, i know how to b/s my own, but ive gone thru buying one for 40 bux. best investment in rc boat you can make imo. the chances of it getting destroyed are slim, but it does happen if there are floating branches or something. losing them is also sometimes a risk we take, and ive lost a few, but in the end the boats performance on metal prop is just so much greater than using a plastic one. its a risk worth taking

Thanks man, you've been such a great help. I might wait until my prop breaks on my current boat now, then go for the metal.
