You guys aren't messing up my thread. It's actually getting me better feel for what I want to do. Thanks for all your input guys. Terry your stealth looks sweet and I would definitely want to take a look at your whip at the next race.

James, that old Redwing whip was a beast the first season we ran it. At the 2010 nats it got run over by Jason Sims. It was upside down. He couldn't have seen the boat if his life depended on it.

It's been beaten and battered so many times since then it needs a rebuild. I think I'm going to re-sheet and reinforce it for P Sport. Drop a man motor in there.

I think Tom needs about a half degree of negative.

P limited is going to be a ton of fun this summer.

Sean and I both had very quick P sport hydro's at WW9. I probably had more top end, but Sean could easily get around the tight course where as I had to pedal quite a bit in the turns and by PT was beyond the ragged edge of control. If the course was larger it would have been a great battle. Maybe at the Mid Michigan Cup if I can get out there. The PT Stealth is a great P-Ltd hull and really the only major downside to it is the pin hole filling prior to priming and painting.

On any given day all three can run equally with a good set-up and driver. Just comes down to personal preference.

Dingdingding. Hated it. I'll build 2 wood boats over filling those pin holes. I used vinyl spackle and everything. Your blocking the primer thinking you got em all but nnnnnnoooooooooo there's another stink'n pin hole. They're awesome boats and great looking when done but holy crap!

Tyler, the more the merrier. If not this summer then next. We plan to have more races. The gang is having too much to not.

James is a pretty good driver. He's done everything shy of riding that UL1 to get it to perform. He's going to put us all to work once he gets a boat that can go where he's pointing it.

Lol thanks terry. My dad and I have definitely put some serious hangtime on that boat. I would ride it if that made it go faster. Next year I plan on running a new hull.

With the mods I've seen on your UL, I doubt that any of these three are beyond your ability.

It will come down to how much time do you have to screw with one. If you can mess with it while your off in the summer I would recommend it. Even if it's only in preperation for next season. They're hard to paint in MI in the winter. Then spring comes and you have no testing in on a brand new setup.........wait, that's my story.

I'll probably work on it in the summer, hopefully do some testing before the year is over and then run it next year. That's the plan at least.

I was watching Jimmy's boat the past couple heats. He's staying tight to the pins.... shortening the course.

BTW - Whatever boat you end up getting, just make sure it's slower than mine please! :)

Thanks pete. I gotta try to make the course longer for everyone else and shorter for the Ul-1. No guarantees on getting a slower boat lol. If I could get a boat to go as fast as your's I would be pretty happy with it.

                                Me too.

Maiden voyages in the Tide went quite well. Lots of tweek'n left. CG and strut adjustement. Had to peddle it a lot to keep it upright. Blew it off twice. Second time had to retrieve it. Potential is there. Not sure about catching Mike yet.
