We're jacking this thread but I burned a couple of hydros into the bank at the 2010 nats in CO that still aren't fixed. One was carbon with a foam core afterplan. They're killed. Should have had a funeral. I mourned their loss.
Back on track.
The Insane will be the quickest to get on the water and performance is right there. Lot's of resources to tap for getting it set up right too. I still haven't seen one as fast as a Stealth......yet. Newland has one that's stupid fast. We'll have get him to MI to see how he measures up. haha
The Thomas runs really well with little tweaking but you have to fill the surface and paint it. I wont tell you this is a fun process. I've painted a couple of them now and cuss'd them both. One of which I just finished last week......yep......cuss'd it. Need to get some picture up somewhere. Came out okay.
The Whips are really easy builds as far as wood kits go. They do require a little forethought as they really weren't purpose designed for FE. You have to do a little work on the interior to get everything in the boat where you want it. They also have that "look what I built" quality that's impossible to put a value on.
Any of the three boats mentioned are pretty sweet rides. You wont be sorry with any of them so get the one that appeals to you.
