The Fantasm is your best bet. I don't think you will find another full carbon fiber cat that size for the price. If you go with the FG Shocker it will need some reinforcing, the hull is on the thin side.

Is the HOR Racing 41 inch cat the same as the fantasm? It looks the same. But is it everything the fantasm is including the reinforcement inlay?

I think the are made by the same company. But I'm not 100% sure

Ok I broke down and just ordered the CF fantasm. Now who wants to help a flounder with his first CF hull build?

Did you order from FC, or Keith? If your running a single in it, I would buy the off set rudder combo from FC. Thats what I have on my fantasm, and it works good

I ordered it from FC and for now I'm going to use the inline rudder combo I have from the Daytona the make an offset bracket I may get later but for now I just have to thank my stars that my wife let me get the CF. I need help with how to bond the motor and servo mount, and the battery trays.

You will like the Fantasm better. I have built the FG one and I have 2 CF hulls here that I am working on now. If you're building a single, check out Jason4636's boat that Keith Bradley built.

I agree with Joel, keith did a hell of a job on my boat.

On bonding your parts, just remember to sand anywhere the epoxy is going to touch. And I use G-flex epoxy by west systems

i really want to do this build myself but dont want to screw it up. how much do you think he would charge me if i just sent it to him and had him build it a single with every thing i already have?
