Mike, you will be missed. I always make sure I stop by to see you. Have fun playing with toys instead. I envy you. Some of us appreciate your dedication to toy boats, racing, and well just toys too.

Do you know who will be there in your place?

Grimm, Will the Rescue 17 be for sale at Toledo or just for display?

Thanks T-dawg..I like the show but my HP launch landed on the same weekend.

Vetter.. We (Hobbico) do not sell at the show. We ask our dealers to help take care of your needs.

My loot for the most part. The Mrs already reamed me a good one for a grand plan of building a twin cat...

                  Wow,

I am surprised you even found that much boat stuff! I hope you left some for me; I can't get there until tomorrow...

                  Later,
                  Mike

Ya the TFL people got a good pile of hardware. I got the last prop balancer from the Hayoe model people.

TP Power has some Swordy ESC's. They got a 300A, 240A, 180A and more. They also got one of those fancy looking fiberglass riggers thats a bit bruised and assembled screwed up. They wouldnt deal on price, so I left it sit.

Nah, but she wasnt happy. I sacrificed a UL-1 to appease.

That's a small price to pay to keep peace in the family.

I thought about going. Didn't go last year because of gas prices and I won't be going this year either because of high gas prices. It's not worth spending the money to attend anymore as its about a seven hour drive from up here in Northern Michigan and lots of money in gas so screw it. I'm driving less and less anyway so there is no way I can justify the expense.
Too bad, I wanted to stop by Zipp Kits and buy hardware for my JAE 21 and check out motors, batteries etc.
BTW I have attended a dozen Toledo shows in the past.
The price of the tickets is now 10.00

Truth be told its 90% planes/gliders, 5% helicopters, 4.5% cars and maybe .5% boats. Aquacraft had 2 or 3 boats on display, TFL and Zipp were the only boat exclusive.

You didnt miss anything on batteries. You can buy them cheaper on line and get the name brands you know.

I wouldnt drive much more than 2 hrs to see this show, especially if your only interest are boats. If your into planes, this is the best.
