Buy one of those, run 8s with a 1400 or 1600kv motor. You'll go fast. Keith is great btw and this is a new esc, hifei stuff performs wellComment

Hey guys!
I'm new RC boats and new the Forum... this is my very first postThat being said, I just purchased a Genesis 37' hull and looking for some help putting together a solid boat.
Currently thinking...
Motor: Leopard 4082 1600kv
ESC: Seaking 180a (do I need to run a separate RX power pack? I know it has a BEC, but I'm still new and don't know the best setup for this)
Batteries: Undecided... thinking 2 x 6s parallel for longer run times... is this ok for my ESC?
Prop: Undecided... from what I'm reading... I've seen m445, x440, x642... so I have yet to pull the trigger on my prop?
Drivetrain: stock 4mm (will later upgrade to 3/16) but for now, how do I get a 3/16 prop to fit on the stock 4mm shaft? is there an adapter, or do they have the suggested props for 4mm?
I have a buddy who has a amped up Black Jack 29 running around 60... I have to get me Genesis running faster than that LOL atleast 65Any guidance you guys can provide would greatly be appreciated!
Thanks guys!

This is my genesis. It is about as fast as you should ask this "Hyundai" hull to go. Holeshots are rediculuous and it is reliable as you could ask for on 6s all day.
