I use 45% on everything from .130 -.250. No worries!
On my T Mono SAWs boat I tin the last inch of my .250 cables as I use couplings with three sets of three set screws 120 degrees apart. Again no worries. http://www.harrisproductsgroup.com/e...y-Silv-45.aspx
Of course do whatever works for you.
