      Martin yes I did some short runs on 6S (saw seT up) and we all are quite impressed with the way this motor push the boat.The lake we did our previous tests is too short for full throthle even turning a small prop 44mm cup 3,6 but in few weeks I hope I will have she ready to the real maiden voyage.Gill

        Sorry to hijack your thread but as soon I have it ready will start a post on the building thread.Tyler we did 109 with a very small prop so with more work I guess we can reach those numbers.Thanks Gill

          Gil,
          I can say for my rigger the prop diameter range that worked was between 44mm and 50mm. The hardest part was keeping the blades attached or prevent them from folding over.

            Tyler I know this the hard way but after have learned how to heat threat my props they stay in good shape till now but who knows with the neu motor?1450 (44m cup 3,5) did fast passes but I want to see with the 2047 serie( I prepped 5 props with different diam and cups) where she can go!?.

              Gil,

              The props I ran were hardened. It is a fine line between the correct amount of harness and too much. The 20 series like to throw the blades, where as the V9 series did both. Keep us posted on the results.
