Looking good!! CG really matters on this hull!!.

Mine is still waiting for me to do the final little thing. NEXT weekend for sure!!

So, maybe we need to meet halfway for a FE grudge Match!! Google Maps say Lordsburg, NM is at the halfway point!! I wonder of there is a pond there!! (or ANY standing water!!).
              Don't get me started

Looks like you have it balanced pretty good. Whats the gps telling you? Looks to be about 40 from what I can tell. At any rate your building & setup skills in regard to these big cats has come full circle. You are the man

FWIW when I was running mine on a 2280/12 I was getting 58-60 mph. With the 1527/1.5Y I was getting mid 60's.

                          Bill,
                          What props for these speeds??

I reprogrammed the CC HV-240 on the castle link.. The first couple runs were at lowest timing and throttle start up,,, I now have them set to normal... See if that makes any difference... This same 2215 in the Insane Gen 1 Cat with CC HV-180 and same cells with x455/3 prop,, was getting solid 58-60MPH on gps??

I did check the CC HV-180's settings and they were all at normal,,, thats why I reprogrammed the HV-240...

I was running up to 457/3 and getting the speeds noted above.

I plan to start with a 455/3 then go to the 457's and go up to a 460/3 or 460/2 depending on what I see the boat doing. Honestly if I can just get a solid 60 out of it in oval trim I'll be happy.

I could not agree more, 58-60 mph and great handling is my goal!!
