Where did you pick up these hulls from? I find choice in the uk really limited for FE

I just had a look at model marines site but not on there, maybe with them being a oldish gas boat hull they may have stocked them a few years back.

I found a real nice running yellow ricoracing 31" on ubube that swayed me, but i have spent days trying to find it again, with no luck yet, should have saved it in my favs still looking but it handled great, also seen the one with the T600 looks mental on a windy day

I think the vid of the green one with t-600 is likely mine. Runs awesome with 6s1p and a m447!

I thought it might have been Rumdog
looks like a good all-rounder and works great in all weather conditions good for oval and setting up for sports, I like the hard as nails bit a well
Not to sure how to get hold of one?
still no reply to my email, Do they still make them?

There are a few good mono options, such as

            Rico 31
            Delta Force Cyber Storm
            Delta Force Pirate
            Delta Force 21 MkII
            Insane 34

I race a DF 21 MkII with 6S1P and it really hauls. Would be easy to prop it down for more run time for sport running, or go with a lower kV motor. Excellent handling boat and the finish is top notch. My build is here with set-up info -
            http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...Mk2&highlight=

Having said that, I'd probably go for the Pirate, will be a bit easier on cells due to the smaller size, and has a nice rectangular hatch (easier to tape down). Not as pretty though IMO.

Thanks Scott, what more can I say, except I am just about to place an order for two slightly uglier, but hopefully more efficient Orange Pirates from HK not in stock at OSE.
              and follow your build thread.
Would OSE have the complete hardware package so i could follow your build? I was hoping I can buy most off the hardwear from one place.
Any chance you could help me out with a complete parts list?

looking back i suppose all the info I need is in your detailed build .

I just been told i could also go with DF hardware package, but I am not sure what's looks like yet it apparently a new design rudder

Finding the rail type motor mount looks like it might be my first problem.

                Hi Mattwarner,

Try Jotika, ( link below). If you send them an email, I think that they still make the Challenger in a lightweight version for FE. At least they did when I last enquired.

Also for FE stuff in Uk. don't forget Astec, they are great for bits and advice.

                  Sampit,

Good choice, I'd like to build a Pirate one day, but have a couple of hydros to finish off first.... I'm not familiar with the DF hardware, probably works fine though.

The motor mount I used is a Fastmount 100 from here - http://www.fastelectrics.com/hardware.asp#Fastmounts Depending on your motor selection, others will work OK. South River RC have some nice rail mounts for 40mm motors.

Strut is a funny one, it is Speedmaster, but it is the extended 21 strut. So much like the round bottom mono version of this - http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...d=ros-21-strut but with a small extension at the back like the Sport 21 strut. It is a stock Speedmaster item, just seems hard to get.

Rudder - http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...=ros-21-rudder I extended it back about 6mm with some carbon plate.
                  Tabs - http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...d=ros-spdt-150
                  Fins - http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=ose-80066

Everything else is bits and pieces.

                  Hope it works out well

tyler, I would like to convert my aluminum .45 outrigger to electric. back in the 80's with a picco 45 it ran 84 mph in oval trim. could it be made to run with (2) 2 -s packs because of space limitations. on a budget thinking leopard and swordfish . thanks
