    6s 5000 mAh hull?????

Well I have ended up with a new spare pair of Dinogy 6s 5000mAh 65c packs that I had all intentions of selling, but I like them that much I thinking of holding on to them.

I am running another pair in my FC Cheetah with great results.

    Question is.

What hull could I buy, and build to run a single 6s 5000 65c pack?

One option was a F1 tunnel, and I think someone also said last year I could run it in a Delta Force mono, but not really sure about that, most from what I have seen tent to run offset 6s2p set-ups to get the COG right and stop it behaving badly, also I have absolutely no experience at all with v hull monos, and a little worried what I might end up with,EXAMPLE. months of trying to get it to run right, I have plenty of experience with self righting steeped mono hulls that I like running.
Is there any more hull options?
either a mono or cat hull would be preferred but open to any suggestions.
would like to run a smaller lighter hull, rather than going 6s2p again.

    Hi Sam,

I am going to be building a 25" HOR Rocket on 6S with a 3126 just for fun at a small pond nearer to me that the main lake, i was planning on mounting x2 3s packs on top of each other on a central battery tray so could be an option for you? Or how about a rigger?

You could built a "sport" FE mono, cat or sport hydro with a low kv motor to run on 6S1P. A Cyberstorm with a 1515 size 1000kv motor will not pull huge amps and have decent run time.

          I run a 6s 5000mah 65c in my Cyberstorm, currently powering a Leo 4082 1600kv/Seaking 180. GPS had a best of 64mph.....

Hi Mat, that could be fun boat for a small pond, less expense when it goes wrong, cant blame you.
But IMO keep the weight down, its only a small hull, don't go to big on the packs, if you do it will to heavy and be like driving a tank and handle like crap, but maybe with it being a v hull it might be OK, that set-up would never work in a stepped hull mono at the same size. guess your using one of the motors out the Rivercat.

I think a 6s rigger might be way to mental for the size of my lake, and it would most defiantly end in tears, or in bits, or probably both. but i was on my list last week but had second thoughts.

Is the Rico a gas boat hull?

Thank sound interesting Kevin, got any pics you could post? I probably say your using the same pack brand as well at a guess.
is the Cyberstorm the 36" hull?

It's a 31" deep v mono if I am thinking of the same one? Don't think you will source one in the UK though, I've heard the extra weight is good in the rocket as it helps keep in in the water but I've never built on, you could also try a pursuit with a low kv motor? Could be good fun and hold full throttle turns?

I thought you just bought one of the smaller hull, yes that will be fun OK. Do you think the motor will stay cool on the 1600kv out-runner on a 6s single setup.

Sorry you mean the Cyberstorm is 31" just reread the post.

A full throttle turning boats is what I have become to favour these days, going flat out fast in a straight line doesn't do it for me any more.

I know a guy in HK that will build me any DF Hull at a really good price if i go that way. but not sure way to go yet waiting for a bit more input.

I got it used on here not too long ago, and only got to run it a few times before the ponds started freezing. No pics yet. As I got it, I could barely keep it on the water past 50mph, but after some trimming etc. the last run was 64mph, looking forward to springtime to back it up.

They build gas, nitro, and FE hulls. I have the 31" FE mono. I've ran it on 4, 5, and 6s. Best handling mono out there, and tough as nails!

                            Thanks Rumdog,
that looks like what i would be after, just had a look a a few utube videos of this hull running, handles oval racing very well looks fantastic, just the job if i could get my hands on one.

is it much better handling hull than a DF 33" hull at the same size?

My freind is also looking at the speedcraft 34" p mono hull. just waiting for a response from Mike also.

                            Problem is:

If you are looking for a 31" deep V that handles, there is always the Aeromarine Challenger 31. I have 3, one for I.C, one brushed and latest one for a brushless Feigo motor. With the right motor , you should be able to get away with a single 6s set up
