    Proteus D/Y option motors - reviews ?

    Any reviews from ppl who have used these ?
    Not interested in onlooker comments ...

    Yes I have run Proteus and I find them very reliable.
    Great motor for a small amount of money.

          In this boat I have the X520, using CC ICE 240 esc and Haiyin 6S 5000 mah 40C.
          I pulled a X455/3 during this test.
          Amps peaked at 223.

                Didn`t measure any speed cause lack of time.
                I built this boat only for testing purposes, since I know SpC`s very well it was an easy choice. If I manage to do more testing before the water gets frozen I`ll let you know.
                I also have X524 T2 and T3 which is supposed to be tested, but that will be in a larger boat. (DF 90)

                  De winter is Au summer... 80->120'f (30->47'c) .. now for 3 months
                  The only ice I see is inside my drink!

                  I have 2x T2 for MHZ135 cat... will post some details when tested.

                    Hi Joern,

                    I what boat length application did you use the X520 motor? I am building a 42" shallow v hull with the AquaStar version of this motor; same exact specs. I will be running it on "Y" configuration.
