Real scum bag [email protected] Justin Smith

This guy is a SCUM bag. Stay clear of him. He bought my Neu 1110 motor, then took out a Paypal claim saying that it blew. He also said he never even mounted it.

So I told him to send it back for a refund. When I received the blown motor, it turned out it was this one he was trying to sell.

I'm just glad none of you ended up with the junker.

Its pretty easy to see he pulled a fast one on Paypal and myself. The motor I sent him had rear screws holding the endbell. the one he returned was only glued on and the thing had dirt in the bearing and all scratched up. Not to mention the shaft size is different.

Here is the one I sold him

So watch out on other forums!

Here is some of his info!

Steve I was on another forum today and they have a rule that everyone has to post their REAL name in thier signature. I guess this helps keeping track of the scums out there. I dont know if this is something that may be worth while?

Ray we require a first and last name now. How do they prove on that board if its a real name?

I've noticed people have been using PayPal to get money back on items they destroy.

Burning something up and thinking it was defective is one thing Dana. This was outright fraud!

Yeah this guy is a jerk. But I have noticed the whole "using PayPal" thing lately. I realize this situation is different, but I dunno man, it's just messed up.

There was actually a member on here recently who was bragging about using PayPal in bad ways. He kept buying stuff and breaking it, then opening PayPal claims to get his money back claiming defective items. It's pathetic

It also allows scumbags trying to use your personal information to do identity-theft or take a keyboard war to the next level by going after you in your personal life. I do have my real name on another Forum, but that's an exception and joined that forum almost before Al Gore invented the internet.

I have no problem with forum admins having access to personal info but not regular users to prevent exactly what you're trying to accomplish.

                    Steve,

Can you take legal steps on this guy since he knowingly lied and gave faulty information to PP for profit. It is theft! Seems like he has broken law and not just human decency.

Did you mention the conclusion? Did he get the claim amount? Can you counterclaim? Small claims? (I realize that is not time effective, but people like this should be taken behind the barn and.... dealt with, like in the olden days before the internets was invented.)

You can only imagine what his personnal life is like... and deserves every miserable part of it!

Sean, PayPal gave him the money back. I will be contacting them about this.

Steve I have no idea if there is any way to prove it they are using their real name or not. Either way it sucks that these scammers are out there. On the heli forums that I belong to it seems like the scammers are all over the place. I used to buy a LOT of stuff online but with all the scum out there using the internet to ruin it for the honest people I have looked over plenty of great deals because I didn't know the person selling the item.

Now as far as Paypal goes I am not sure I even want to use them anymore either. I just read a topic the other day that a guy sold another loser a heli that was perfect. The guy got the heli, beat it into the ground and then files a PP claim and got all his money back. I read the same type of thread on The Baja forums last year too.

                              Hi Steve ,

Sorry to hear that this has happened to you , you do so much in this hobby for everybody , so for this Turd to carry out this act so blatently is an insult on who you are , and those that support the Worlds best F/E website !!! . Is there anything in U.S law that enables you as a business owner to take action against this criminal . It may be the case such as here in Australia , that Law works in favour of the perpetrators of such low acts . Can't you just do us all a favour on this forum , by deleting and blocking this Turd ...

You really should consider taking a stand against this Turd , in this case ....
