Thanks Mike. Will do. I think I have some 120°C shrink wrap in several different colors as well.

Fluid - That's a nice running boat. Are you running 5.5 bullets on that single 6S pack?

What should I learn about servos (and mount) and which would work on a 36" hydro?

I run 8mm connectors on that setup.

I suggest getting a digital servo with a minimum of 150 oz-in of torque on 6 volts, they hold center better to counteract prop walk and will give you smooth turns. I get most of my servos at Servo City. This is a great servo for your boat: http://www.servocity.com/html/hs-564...al_torque.html

Thanks Fluid, just ordered. Didn't know what sizes for the other parts, but some were so inexpensive, I ordered in two sizes with hopes one will work.
          HS-5645MG Servo
          HS-625/645/5625/5645 Case
          Aluminum Double Arm
          Hitec Heavy Duty Horns
          Rubber Servo Grommets
          4-40 Linkage (1/4 inch Ball)
          4-40 Linkage (3/16 inch Ball)
4-40x12 inch Stainless Steel Threaded Rod
          4-40 Metal Clevis

          Have I missed anything?

Just happened to see your thread and wanted to also mention going with the 1527 1Y was a good decision, glad Fluid saw your post and suggested the 1Y and you were able to change the order. The servo and linkages above will work good for this hull. The toughest part to get hold of is the proper turn fin if you haven't got it yet. Let us know if you didn't, I'm sure Phil can hook you up where to get one. Just a suggestion is to start a build thread on the boat building area when you begin building, alot of knowledgeable people here will help you out along the way.

Hey Jay is that the AM sport .40? I had 4 of those and got rid of all of them, I took 2nd at the nats in Co in 2010 with one on 5S but over 50mph it wasnt great and it just seemed out of it's league against the PT's and whips, but your's looks great? Have you raced it against the PT's and Whips, and what speeds are you getting out of it? I know I never spent a great deal of time on it and I had a pretty small turn fin. but would like to know how yours goes against the other boats, and what Turnfin you're using???

              Sorry for the HIjack
