I need to change out the drive shaft from my 22.5 Arowana. I am running a Leo 2860 3400 kv on a 3s. What stuffing tube and drive shaft tube should I use. Strut?

I had this same dilemma with the one I had.
Some people have used the Super V 27 strut, but its pricey.
I opted to get the 4mm stinger thats 55mm long. I then took the bushing out and put a 1/4" reamer thru it so I can use 3/16" bushings/shaft.

I chose that one because Ive had one before and the color matched the rudder. Also because its a sealed design. The round part where the shaft goes has a ball which fits into a socket. So no worry about water getting between that area and the hull and coming up the stuffing tube like other designs.
For cable I would advise a wire drive in this application. You can buy one from a few vendors now or make your own with the Octura propshafts- which are REALLY nice. Just beware you need the correct loctite glue to build these and its about $16...
SirBudman32 can probably show you pictures of final product. Stinger fit very well on back of the boat too!42" Osprey, 32" Pursuit, 26" Bling Rocket (rescue), Blizzard Rigger, JAE 21FE rigger, Hobby King rigger (RIP)
