Is this your first time running twin cat? if so, I would suggest using a bit lower kv such as 1600kv for a start and see how it goes from there. x442 would be sufficient enough

I suggested the 1700kv as a second 'personal' choice, when you get such high rpms you are very limited on prop selection obviously and then your whole setup is based on prop and not motor and cells........................you cant prop down............

Its not always about rpm's, I have less than 30,000 rpms to work with on my 47" mono in my signature and I get over 70 mph out of her.

Thank you for helping me sharing your experience.

I am going to run 3674 1900KV with smaller CNC alu props. I start with 36mm 1,4 pitch and go up to my TOP X442 props until tempereatures stays under 55 grades Celsius. I am very interested how it will work :-) I hope the Leos last long time.

I have only 6S pack i use in my all other models. I will use 6S pack.

Do you think, the temperatures will be too high with 1900KV and x442mm prop?

It's hard for me to project that when the setup is so far out there in my opinion, I have no way to guage that based on my setups. Good luck!

                36mm would be small prop.
                I'd start with 40mm.

I agree, i will only use 36mm props only for safe when installing ani new drive components.

I will start with ABC1616 props (40mm 1,6 3 blades). I have very good reference on them. May be, better efficiency and batter quality(less work with B/S) then Octuras. Well, i am very curious how ABC will perform.
