I've used CorrosionX on my electronics - receivers, servos, ESCs - for years with zero issues. I flood the boards, shake off the excess and let it air dry. It can be removed for repair, unlike many of the "conformal" coatings. Too, it is cheap and easy to re-apply.

I fill a cup with the liquid then dip whatever exposed electronics in it then drip dry then use,It actually eats prior corrosion and prevents further corrosion, works amazing on stuff even in the snow...using it for years also heh.it is non conductive methinks also, so zero issues and it wipes off fairly easily...stuff is magic.Comment

I have seen several ways to use it.
The nitro boys use it on servos in the hot pits in practice when a boat comes in with wet radio box. They pull the servo out and apart spray the motor and circuit board shake off excess and water. Then they put it back together and in to the boat and they work correctly.
I like to soak the OPC motors in it after a dunk. It is great to save ball bearings and prolong life of them. On some receivers it is necessary to let drip dry over night. ESC's Spray and use.Comment

Wow!
sounds like I need to get some of this stuff..
I use the spray electrical tape on my RXs but looks like I can use this stuff on most anything, even motors!
