    Correct, PWM is repeating a series of on and off DC pulses to form a square wave, it never reverses direction. Some people think that DC flows on the outside of a wire. That does not happen with any amount of DC voltage or current. "Skin Effect" happens in AC only. But I think we are looking into this too much. Keep it simple, use quality high strand count silicone coated copper wire.

      We still talking about this? I stick to my statement like others have agreed with. Just keep it simple. Also I hate wikipedia for anything factual.

        Glad y'all got the point of this thread. Use high stranded copper wire, not just anything laying around in the garage.
