Hi Rich; I've restared both computer several times,,,no luck.
I don't use reverse,,,LOL ,,,,but its nice to have the option after dishing out almost 400 bucks. I'm very tempted to throw it all in a box, ship it back to Castle (at their expense) and have them progam it at the settings I want,,,,tell them to keep the link,,,etc......
As I stated in my first post,,,their products are not very user friendly.......
My Schultze doesn`t have a LiPo cutoff (I bought it knowing that) ,,,has micro switches to do some simple setups ,,,,,costs a few about 200 bucks more, and even in its German to English translated manual, is more user friendly than this. And its built like a brick `sh__t house`.......Grand River Marine Modellers

Doby...we NEVER leave customer hanging out to dry. Plug in the Castle Link and open the software. In the lower left hand corner there are two boxes. With just the link plugged in you should have 1 green box for "USB Connection Status". If not, the driver didn't load. To fix that do this:
Castle Link will function with Vista as long as you have the 32 bit version. Currently there are no drivers available for the 64 bit version. With Vista you need to install the software a little differently than with other versions of Windows. Click on the following link, and when you get the pop-up window asking whether you'd like to "run" or "save", choose "save". Save the installation file to your desktop. http://www.castlecreations.com/downl...stall_3051.exe Once the download is complete go to the desktop, right click on the installation file, and choose "run as administrator". The software should install properly after that.
If you already have a green "USB connection status box", plug the ESC into the link, the plug your battery pack into the ESC (anything above 4s). If it doesn't link after that, shoot me a fax with your full name, address product, and CC# at +001 913 390 6164, and put ATTN JOE FORD AWR on it. I'll get a new one sent out. When the new one arrives send the defective one back via the cheapest means possible w/tracking.
If it does connect, go to the software tab on the ESC, and hit "update firmware". Once it gets through step 3 of 3 it should work just fine.
Let me know if it's giving you issues...I answer all the emails on [email protected] :)Last edited by Joe Ford; 05-15-2008, 09:38 PM.Joe Ford

Doby...shoot me an email at [email protected] and we'll get your C-Link working. We've had some people having issues downloading the 3.051 software. They get a "cab file" error. If that's what you're getting I've probably got the fix for you.Joe Ford
