Just got my 37" cat in last week and have been tossing around setup ideas in my head. I currently have a pretty stock sv27 with a ul1, an aeromarine cat with a single turnigy t600 1400kv brushless and I have an extra 1400kv brushless. My thought was to put the stock sv motor back in, put the ul1 in my aeromarine and run twin t600 1400kv in the daytona, unless there's a better single option fir it. I like the idea if being able to run both the sv and the smaller cat on 4s lipo and buying new packs for the daytona.

You will need some power for that hull. Forget any SV or UL motor...too small and will just work it too hard. The outrunner T600 1400 is ok or just get you a 4082 1600KV and run on 4-5S with 180 amp Turnigy ESC. You will have a better and longer set up. M445-47 should turn it on pretty good. -
I know the sv and ul1 aren't enough for the genesis, what I was saying is use the ul1 in my mean machine and run twine t600 1400 kv on 5-6s eachHPR 135 redemption, HPR C5009, modded zelos 36, 32 boats and counting.

@Love6s: I think he also mentioned the mean machine was a single.
@ls1fst98: JJ2003 here on the forum built a twin T600 1400kv Daytona. Here's a link: 37" Fightercat Daytona Carbon Fiber Catamaran LE #068 He also had a detailed build thread over on FCR, if you're a member.Disclaimer: I hereby accept the potential loss of motor, ESC, entire boat, or credit rating, and forfeit all expectations of success.Comment
