I know my electronics work because I put another esc in this boat and it works fine. I checked the battery to the reciever and it's 7.4 and I also have a 6volt battery and a 4.8. None of these batteries will work either. I am sending it back and you can see what I am talking about. I am not this dumb, this thing is dead. All my other boats work fine.

And yes the rudder will work, it works with the motor or esc unplugged. It's doesnt have anything to do with the esc.Comment

I'm just a bit confused, first you said the rudders not working. You said that in a email and online. Now its working? What we are doing by checking the rudder is finding out if the remote system is functioning. You are more than welcome to send it back. If there is nothing wrong with it, you are wasting your time.Steven Vaccaro

Yes the rudder is working, the remote is a synthesized JR radio and it was on my other boat by changing all these settings. I have everything set back to the supervee and right channel and the rudder does work. But that's all, nothing else will beep or make any sounds or movement.Comment

with that being said then it sounds like a bad one. as soon as my esc was hooked to motor and packs it started chirping even without hooked to rx. set it up with StevenComment

Check your email. I sent info on returning it.Steven Vaccaro

I am wondering how this one came out? I have yet to run mine and have been watching with anticipation at how many sell vs trouble that has popped up. Please keep us posted if it was just a bad esc or other. A dead esc is pretty uncommon with any brand or model but am curious.Comment

Burnt This one up
Hooked this one up on a 9xl on 4s pack and after about 4 minutes it stopped working. Rudder still works but motor will not arm. I wouldnt buy anymore of these.Comment

So far I have had about 3 returns out of over 100 sold. JPR has had two with problems. The second one I double checked on a airplane prop at 70 amps. It ran great. No heat, no issues.Steven Vaccaro

I blew this one on a 9XL with 2s2p 4000 mah and a grim racer prop 3 blade. The one he recommends. This one did run but it didnt make it but for about 5 minutes or so!Comment
