Sounds like it will more than "look" like a screamer, I hope you put up a video. I think 6S is too much for me. Has anyone ran 5S with stock genesis motor?...... and I'm in the Ozark Hills, I was almost that inbred trailer guy! whew I'm not in a trailer, but other than that, I was almost offended... heheehe

think about upgrading the flex to a one piece. I've seen the stock flex snap and quickly bore a big hole in the bottom of a genesis hull while putting big power to it.

Okay, tell me what we are looking at here. What is the black motor? Are you replacing the stock Genesis motor with the Spartan motor? I don't know anything about the Traxxas stock motor but the videos with sound for the Spartan really sound like the motor turns up the rpm's. If that motor is better than the stock Genesis 3674 motor I would like to know that. I kind of thought most of the so called stock entry level 3674 motors were pretty much the same. Just for your info I have run my stock Genesis on the water with another guy running his stock Spartan and I could walk him anytime.

im just showing the can length differences... Its a castle 1800kv 540xl and yes it is the motor that comes in the spartan... and yes the black one is the genesis stock motor... btw the castle motor has more weight, bigger wires and bullets and overall just has more quality...

the genesis is a way faster hull... the spartan hull has alot of drag to it... were you running 6s? and was the spartan on 6s as well?

No, we both were running 4s. I was not comfortable running behind him as he couldn't keep a straight line . He had hooked and spun out twice trying to keep up. (:-)

I have ran the spartan on 4s and it was really slow compared to it on 6s... makes a big difference...

I was running a castle 1515 2200kv motor on 4s2p in my genesis and consistently ran in the low to mid fifties. It's not the greatest turning cat but can handle a lot of straight speed.
