Better reinforce the hull good if your planning to put some serious speed to it.
CF Fightercat Daytona, 21 year old Hitec Sea Nymph, Genesis and many more to come im sure.

Rob, reinforce it like you did with your Segad. Suggest you go with a Turnigy 180 amp ESC. Got them here on OSE, or from Hobby King. Only around $80, are pretty much bullet proof, & will let you use a wider size range of motors. Perhaps you could stuff one of those 5692 1340KV Leopards in there with a Turnigy 240 ESC.JIM

I reckon you could Jim. It would go like a bullet too if set up right but it would also increase your build cost by a fair amount.

Agreed. But sometimes running a boat at <60 MPH all day long beats going 90-100 for a few seconds, then trying to find a diver to pick up the pieces. A whole lot easier on the wallet too. JIM

You should have gotten the bare hull only from Fightercat. It is better constructed, and you could put all the proper gear in it without having to pitch all the crap.

For only about $60 more it's well worth it in hardware & time saved. Toss the plastic prop & don't forget to get an offset rudder for it Rob. JIM
