      Thx Jim.
Ok ,I searched for some Segad threads at the forum. ANd it looks a lot like my Navicraft 52" cat. A beautiful hull with awesome finish. Hmmm, maybe I should put two of my alternatives in it instead? But how would that be with the weight? 2 of those Leopards and 8s would be much lighter than the 2028 alternative on 10s? CAn this hull withstand this extra weight? Inputs plz...
      Thx

Yes, the Segad can handle the weight. The big Segad was built as a gasser so it has 5" ID 1/4" thick stringers running most of the hulls length for the engine, thus it is very strong. Like every Chinese boat I've seen, it's always a good idea to epoxy a 1 1/2 to 2" strip of fiberglass tape along the sponsons inner seams.

I agree, at least to me, the Segad is one of the most beautiful big cats out there. It draws a crowd every time I run it. JIM
