This summers project... Hydro 40+" suggestions

Ok, here comes this summers upcoming project. And since I have to put aside my recent project with a Navicraft 42 (52" GAS catamaran being converted) due to the added cost of another drive system, Im seeking for other alternatives. I have allways wanted to have a Hydro (crab) boat. Of course electric.
But I dont know really wich one to chose. I have the following parts.
    Leopard 5692/1340kv at 8s
    or
Castle 2028/780 at 12s (1/5 car motor w fins. What about the cooling?)
    Turnigy Monster 240A/12s

The question is. What hull and hardware should I get? Its mostly going to be used as a SAW runner in a lake where ist mostly
    quite calm.

    Aiming at 70mph or more

I think a hull at about 40+" is pretty well suited for this setup? I think the most of the crab hulls in this size are for Gas or Nitro?
But lets convert it then... I think 1/8 scale are to big for my hardware?

So bring them out. The hulls (only) in the 300-500$ league plz.... In US or Europe, it doesnt matter... ANd of course, suggestions or
    such about my drive train.

Nice boat. A bit big, but really good looking. How did you solve the cooling issue? Its a car motor with fins?

They make cooling jackets for them now.............the O-rings sit on the ribs and the can slides over.

Doesnt have a length here but I think this Hydro is aorund 42" or so

And anyone familiar with this one? Good looking thing. (the boat) Would that size do with a 10s setup?

You'll never get the cells and motor in it.

Stick with what the gassers run. Mostly whips. 1/4" cable. But be forwarned that this is a serious project and not at all recommended for those with little fe boating experience.

Peter, for a SAW build I'd try your Leopard 5692 1340KV motor on 8S2P first. You will need a Castle ICE-2 200HV or Turnigy/Swordfish 240 ESC to handle the amps. My Segad with a 5692 1090KV hit 72+ at last years SAWs. Then I put in a 5692 1340KV and smoked my old Castle 200HV. With the 1340KV motor on 8S2P you will turn 39,664 RPM at around 80 MPH. JIM

Ok, thx Alan for answering ,that was one of my thoughts as well. But its quite nice looking... And yes, Im pretty much forwarned and takes this very seriously. And just because of that Im here asking for help.
Can you recommend a decent "Crab" hull for this?

                            Thx ...

Thx Jim for answering. Is that Segad a Hydro (crab) or Cat? I have an Turnigy (sword fish) 240 esc and hope that will do for this. I have to chose either the 2028/780 at 10s or the Leo 5692/1340 at 8s. So you think that
the Leo combo will do just fine for my SAW "Crab"? Can you recommend one for this? I want to make an order for this soon....
