    It was a x450 prop I had laying around and thank you for the info on the batteries, I went to a 50c and made a big difference. Fogot to grease the cable and snapped it the other day, just glad it did not break the hull.

      Your flex drive sheared off due to flexing where the stuffing tube meets the strut. Had that happen a couple of times myself. The cure is to drill a 1/2" deep hole - same size as the stuffing tube OD + .003-.005" in the front of your strut and slide the tube at least 1/4" into the strut. DON'T drill so deep that you hit the front strut bushing. Or you can just buy another strut like this one on my Apparition. You might have to replace the stuffing tube, but it's worth it. The second pic is the strut on my BlackJack. That is the WRONG way, and it's a sheared flex drive waiting to happen. The goal here is to keep the flex shaft from moving around, tying itself into a knot & shearing in half.

      Also note both have offset rudders - which will vastly improve handiling in both straights & turns. This is true for all single motor catamarans. JIM
