    need more flow for outboard cooling



    Made a new cavitation plate on the hor racing outboard with the intake behind the prop but ive tested it in the bath and it seems a bit weak

    anybody got any suggestions?

    Surely it won't work in the bath as the boat isn't moving along? The prop may put a tiny bit of water through but you won't get anywhere near the flow as you would if the boat was doing 30mph.

      i thought behind the prop would be the best place for it but maybe im wrong.

      suppose ill just have to test it properly.

        get it out on the water to test it out.
        It looks proper in the pic.
        never test water flow in the tub.......................

          It's in the same place as the Proboat stiletto and it worked fine on mine. Should be fine, as said get it out on the water.

            Looks good to me u need to get it moving more than you can do in a tup to notice water flow even though the prop is pushing water on it thats still not enough by itself

              Well I tested it and it seems to be working fine. Not quite the jet of water i expected but the tiny motor didnt get too hot
